A Study of Marine Biodiversity: Macrobenthos in Arabian Gulf
نویسنده
چکیده
Biological diversity examines to study the habitats of the earth and marine environment which has a greater extent covers the oceans and soft sediment habitats. It helps us to find the associated terrestrial systems, and knowledge of marine biodiversity. Habitats are holding an assorted arrangement of macrobenthic communities which plays important roles in ecosystem processes like reprocess the nutrients, detoxifying pollutants and less important construction. It is the most developing aspects to understand about the biodiversity in marine and anthropogenic impacts which affects the habitats in order to effectively integrate the preservation procedures. The Arabian Gulf and Bahrain are normally higher since it has higher temperatures related with more evaporation rate. Even though macrobenthos in the Arabian Gulf and Bahrain are set apart the higher stages of biodiversity in which they are prominent by low down species richness since the environmental situation will be the high levels of salinity and heat. This survey helps us to understand and performed using various sampling and processing methods, a normal pattern of reduction in diversity and abundance of macrobenthos could be detected.

Benthic Fauna of Shadegan Wetland
Biological response and ecological indices of benthic communities, such as greater mortality of foraminifera and shell abnormalities, have been used to document pollution effects on ecosystems. Shadegan Wetland was damaged from a deposition of huge amounts of soot and products of burning oilwells of Kuwait as well as chronic exhaust fumes of refinery and industrial furnaces. In this investigati...
متن کاملA new ecotoxicity tolerance index of macrobenthos associated with Zoanthus sansibaricus in the littoral zone of Hormuz Island, Persian Gulf, Iran
A general study with the objective to classify ecotoxicity status of macrobenthose associated with dominant toxic zoanthids in Hormuz Island is presented. Hence, a novel model based on hard bottom macrobenthos and the related substrate composition was suggested to be used for testing the accumulated palytoxin (PTX) in macrobenthose exposed to Zoanthus sansibaricus. Direct and rapid assessment i...

During the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea Oceanographic study (PG-GOOS) in autumn 2012, sampling of macrobenthos was undertaken in 31 stations in Hormozgan Province waters. Three samples were taken from each site using Van Veen grab. Effects of environmental variables on assemblages and distributions of macrobenthos were analyzed. A total of 5677 individuals of macrobenthos were counted being repres...

The marine environment is a rich source of biodiversity and chemical compounds, and based on biodiversity knowledge, it is believed that the highest biodiversity is related to living organisms in tropical and semi-equatorial regions. The goal of this study was the biodiversity of Demospongiae sponge in Assaluyeh area in May 2018. Sampling carried oyu by using Coadrat in three sites with three r...

The Arabian Gulf environmental status was assessed based on studies conducted in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Yemen during 1983-2011. This review examines all sorts of pollutions in the Arabian Gulf area over the last three decades. Approximately 50 published studies were reviewed in order to determine the pollution status in the Arabian Gulf regar...
